Block Tales Beginner Guide

Block Tales opens in Bizville. Talk to everyone, pick up the Wooden Sword, and learn that hitting wooden boards and enemies in the overworld matters.

Striking an enemy first on the map starts the battle with a damage bonus - always try to land that first hit.

The Cards tab is the most important screen in the game. Equip cards with BP and play them with SP in battle.

Turn on Training Wheels early - it costs zero BP and gives a helpful passive. Avoid Hard Mode until you are experienced.

Do not dump all your BP into burst damage. A single defensive or healing card keeps you alive through Chapter 1.

Do not skip items on the floor or NPC dialogue - both hide hints and resources.
